Lesson Policy
My teaching style and what to expect from my guitar lessons
At the first lesson we’ll talk about what music you like and what you want to get out of the guitar lessons. Do you want to play Jimi Hendrix, classical guitar, blues, strum campfire songs and/or have a complete understanding of music theory and how it relates to the guitar?
After you learn the basics (tuning, holding the guitar etc…), we’ll pick one of your favorite songs that’s suitable for your level. I can simplify the song when needed, but with that song you’ll learn how to practice efficiently and exercise proper technique. All while having fun!
What to bring to your guitar lessons
Your guitar! You’ll need a tuner but most “cell phones” are sufficient if you can download a tuner app.
